Death Stranding 2: On the Beach makes a strong impression on PC.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has launched on PC to immense popularity among players. The PC port of the Kojima Productions title, originally released on PS5, quickly garnered a substantial audience on Steam.

SteamDB data shows that at its peak, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach saw over 55,000 concurrent players. This marks a significant increase compared to the first game, which peaked at 32,000 players, and its Director’s Cut on PC, neither of which reached such numbers.

Despite Kojima Productions owning the franchise rights since late 2024, the studio maintains its collaboration with PlayStation. While the game’s initial release is on Sony consoles, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has now successfully entered the top six most popular PlayStation Studios titles on PC, published under PlayStation Publishing LLC.

The game has already received high praise, with 96% of over 1580 user reviews being positive.
