CD Projekt RED Sets New Financial Record and Outlines Ambitious Future Projects

CD Projekt RED successfully concluded its 2025 fiscal year, reporting record-breaking financial results. The company’s revenue reached 867 million PLN (approximately $190 million), an impressive increase of 70 million PLN (around $15 million) from the previous year. Operating profit also saw significant growth, hitting 471 million PLN (roughly $103 million), compared to 368 million PLN (about $81 million) in 2024.

Throughout the year, the studio achieved several significant milestones: April saw the completion of the conceptual phase for Cyberpunk 2, while a tech demo for The Witcher 4 was showcased in June. Also in June, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition was released for Nintendo Switch 2. July brought the announcement of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 in collaboration with Studio TRIGGER for Netflix, alongside the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 for Mac with Apple Silicon. The year concluded with a notable event in December, as Michał Kiciński acquired 100% of GOG’s shares.

In terms of sales, CD Projekt RED also reported impressive achievements: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt surpassed 60 million copies sold, Cyberpunk 2077 exceeded 35 million copies, and the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion reached over 10 million copies sold.

Active development continues on The Witcher 4, while Cyberpunk 2 is being crafted by the US studio with support from their Polish counterparts. Additionally, CD Projekt RED is creating an entirely new intellectual property, codenamed Hadar, which will be the studio’s first original franchise developed from the ground up.

The upcoming year promises to be packed with numerous premieres and ambitious projects, slated for PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and future gaming platforms.
