
The legendary 78-year-old actor is preparing to embody once again the character that launched his stellar Hollywood career.
According to reports, Arnold Schwarzenegger has already commenced intense training to achieve the necessary physical form for filming the highly anticipated movie “King Conan.” This marks a significant return to a role that became an icon in his career.
The upcoming film is positioned as a direct sequel to the cult classic “Conan the Barbarian” from 1982. The storyline will focus on an aging hero who, after years of ruling, finds himself once again drawn into a deadly conflict and forced to wield his sword.
Christopher McQuarrie, known for his work on blockbusters such as the “Mission: Impossible” series, “Jack Reacher,” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” is reportedly attached as the project’s director.
Schwarzenegger had previously mentioned potential roles in a future “Predator” franchise film, currently being developed by Dan Trachtenberg, as well as a sequel to “Commando.” Further details and exact release dates for these projects are yet to be announced.
