The Witcher 4 will feature the integration of NVIDIA RTX Mega Geometry. This innovation is designed to significantly accelerate the process of building BVH models, which are critical for systems with clustered geometry, thereby optimizing the calculation of ray-traced scenes.
Thanks to this technology, ray tracing will be able to function effectively even in extremely demanding scenes, encompassing millions of objects, while maintaining consistently high performance.
The primary goal of this development is to enhance the scalability of ray tracing, allowing it to seamlessly operate in dense game environments, process complex meshes, and render highly detailed objects with unprecedented accuracy.
