Arc System Works has officially announced a significant 2.0 update for its popular fighting game, Guilty Gear -Strive-. The exciting news was unveiled during the Arc World Tour tournament recently held in South Korea.

This major patch is set to bring substantial changes to the gameplay experience. It includes a comprehensive overhaul of the combat system, featuring modifications to existing mechanics and the introduction of fresh special moves for every character on the roster. Developers have indicated that these enhancements are designed to invigorate the player experience and profoundly impact the dynamics of battles.

In addition to gameplay refinements, the update will introduce new content aimed at increasing community engagement. This includes a new battle pass and expanded customization options, granting players more freedom to personalize the appearance of their favorite characters.

Furthermore, it was confirmed that the fan-favorite character, Jam Kuradoberi, will be joining the diverse cast of fighters. She is scheduled to be added to the game on April 9th, making her debut as the first character within the highly anticipated fifth Season Pass.
