Additionally, Paramount Pictures’ YouTube channel unveiled an international teaser, also featuring unique backstage footage, offering a glimpse into the production process.
The film’s plot transports viewers to 1993. Legendary fighters Ryu and Ken Masters find themselves drawn into the grand World Warrior tournament after an intriguing proposition from Chun-Li. However, beneath the surface of the competition lies a vast conspiracy, forcing the heroes not only to battle each other but also to confront their own pasts.
Kitao Sakurai, known for his work on successful series like “Beef” and “Twisted Metal,” takes the director’s chair. The project boasts an impressive cast, including Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, the renowned rapper 50 Cent, David Dastmalchian, and many other stars.
The global premiere of the Street Fighter movie is scheduled for October 16.
