Games Workshop is preparing to open pre-orders for a new plastic miniature of the Falchion Tank Hunter. Concurrently, a 48-page tactical journal dedicated to the super-heavy tanks of the Legiones Astartes will be released.
The Warhammer: The Horus Heresy tabletop game team has confirmed the release of the super-heavy Falchion Tank Hunter in plastic.

While it could be described as a specialized anti-armor vehicle, that would be a significant understatement. The Falchion’s primary purpose is to punch holes through the armor of Titans. Any other threat that crosses its path will cease to be a problem in mere seconds.
Unlike the more versatile Baneblade tank, which can engage a wide array of targets with its diverse weaponry, the Falchion focuses all its immense power into a single, massive Neutron-Wave Laser cannon mounted in its hull.

For close-quarters engagement, particularly in urban environments, the Falchion is also equipped with defensive turrets. However, with a formidable main weapon range of approximately 10 feet (about 3 meters), the Falchion will rarely need to close with the enemy. Even if enemy fire reaches its mark, its thick frontal armor can withstand most hits, and the tank’s internal systems are as robust as its exterior.
The rules for the Falchion will be detailed in the 48-page tactical journal titled Mailed Fist: Legiones Astartes Super-Heavy Tanks.

Pre-orders for the plastic tank model and the aforementioned journal are expected to open soon.
