Valve Returns: Not Half-Life 3, But the Headcrab Appears in Super Meat Boy 3D

The upcoming release might appeal to fans of the indie platformer as well as dedicated Half-Life enthusiasts.

The Half-Life community recently buzzed with excitement over an unexpected announcement of a new playable character in the upcoming Super Meat Boy 3D.

It turns out players will be able to control the iconic Headcrab from the Valve universe:

Developer Sluggerfly hinted at this in a recent social media post, asking: “New Super Meat Boy 3D reveal. Who’s that guest character?!”

Super Meat Boy 3D is anticipated for release in 2026.
