The Saber Interactive team continues its dedicated work on improving Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, recently rolling out update 12.2 to address various issues and refine the gameplay experience.
This latest patch introduces several key adjustments, including important balance changes. For instance, the ‘Sniper’ class has seen its base ability cooldown reduced significantly from 125 seconds to a more agile 90 seconds, impacting tactical play.
Beyond gameplay tweaks, update 12.2 tackles a range of technical problems to enhance stability and player experience across platforms:
- A critical issue causing low frame rates and 100% CPU utilization on the Steam Deck has been successfully resolved, promising smoother handheld performance.
- A visual bug that caused the blur effect to linger excessively after using healing items has been fixed, improving visual clarity during combat.
- A glitch with a specific perk that erroneously decreased the damage of the Omnissiah Axe instead of providing the intended increase has been corrected.
These updates reflect Saber Interactive’s ongoing commitment to refining Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, ensuring a more polished and enjoyable experience for all players.
