Resident Evil Code: Veronica Remake to Feature Structural Changes, No Content Cuts – Insider Report

Fans have long been requesting a remake of this particular installment in the franchise.

According to a prominent insider, developers are planning significant structural alterations for the game.

It is reported that the Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake will be notably expanded without cutting any original content. Some elements are undergoing extensive redesigns, making it the remake with the most substantial changes and deviations from the original. However, all enemies, locations, and key narrative events will be preserved.

Chris’s role is set to be significantly expanded, becoming as substantial as Claire’s.

His storyline will conclude earlier than in the original: he will engage Wesker in a full-fledged boss battle much earlier in the plot, sustaining severe injuries. This will leave Claire to complete the mission and confront the final boss.

It is also rumored that Yasuhiro Anpo and Kazunori Kadoi, known for their work on the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 remakes, are involved in the development of the Code: Veronica remake.
