Crimson Desert Update 1.00.03 Released: Teleport Points, Personal Storage, and Quality-of-Life Enhancements

Developers continue to refine various game elements in Crimson Desert. The latest patch, version 1.00.03, introduces a wide array of fixes and improvements to quests, mechanics, and much more, focusing on enhancing player convenience and overall gameplay experience.

For easier and faster navigation across the vast continent, additional Abyss Confluence teleportation points have been strategically implemented.

A much-requested personal storage function has also been added, allowing players to conveniently store inventory items. This personal storage is initially accessible at Ernand’s Temporary Haven. Once the Wolf Hill camp is acquired, the storage will also become available within your own camp.

Other notable changes and improvements in update 1.00.03 include:

  • Ore deposits and other gathering points are now automatically detected when players approach them.
  • The time required to gain knowledge has been significantly reduced.
  • Skills can now be mastered by utilizing the “Watch and Learn” mode just once.
  • The number of hits required to chop trees has been decreased, and trees can now be chopped with regular attacks without needing to enter a dedicated aiming mode.
  • QTE (Quick Time Event) difficulty has been lowered in both the arm wrestling mini-game and in situations where the character is pinned by an enemy or a mount.
  • Items that grant knowledge now display a distinct icon, and their tooltips clearly show the amount of available knowledge.
  • The Abyss Skyway tuning device now activates instantly upon reaching its activation point.
  • It is now easier for players to locate Abyss Skyway tuning devices.
  • Camera movement has been improved when aiming a bow at a brazier; consequently, the arrow ignition radius has been adjusted.
  • The amount of health restored by cooking ingredients and prepared food has been increased, and new diverse dishes have been added to Ernand’s tavern.
  • Stamina consumption during climbing actions has been reduced.
  • The difficulty of shooting mini-games and archery competitions has been lowered.
  • [Keyboard/Mouse] Character movement controls have been made more responsive for smoother gameplay.
