The dark fantasy action RPG, Lords of the Fallen, a prominent title in the souls-like genre, has achieved a remarkable milestone, with its total sales surpassing 2.5 million copies worldwide. This significant announcement was made jointly by developers Hexworks and publisher CI Games.
Marek Tyminski, the Chief Executive Officer of CI Games, confirmed that the project successfully recouped all its development and production costs by the end of February 2026. This means that Lords of the Fallen is now generating pure profit for its creators, marking a substantial financial success for the studios involved.
Looking to the future, CI Games is already actively engaged in the development of Lords of the Fallen 2. The highly anticipated sequel promises to deliver a more expansive, visually spectacular, and even more brutal and bloody experience than its predecessor, aiming to build upon the foundation of the original game’s success.
