Forza Horizon 6 Reveals Richer World and New Activities After Player Feedback

Following initial criticism from players regarding “empty” environments and low video quality in earlier gameplay footage, developer Playground Games has released a more comprehensive look at Forza Horizon 6. The initial reveal was met with a lukewarm reception, as fans noted a lack of cars and general vibrancy on the roads, leading to a world that appeared less dynamic than anticipated for a new installment.

Responding to this feedback, the developers unveiled new, detailed gameplay as part of IGN First. This latest showcase delves deeper into the game’s content and the array of open-world activities set in Japan. Players were introduced to seamless Time Attack and Drag Race events, now integrated directly into the open world. Racers can simply approach an event location and begin the challenge immediately, without navigating through menus.

Significant attention was also given to the progression system, a cornerstone of the series. In this sixth iteration, the Horizon Festival once again plays a central role, with player advancement closely tied to the distinctive Wristband system. Moreover, Playground Games has designed specific rewards for those who prefer to leisurely explore the expansive map and engage in spontaneous activities, ensuring that all playstyles are recognized and rewarded.
