Diablo IV is poised to receive a series of gameplay and technical adjustments with the upcoming release of update 2.6.1. Blizzard Entertainment, true to tradition, has published the complete patch notes in advance.
Responding to extensive community feedback, the developers have made the decision to significantly lower the difficulty level of Blood-Marked Seals.
“We’ve received extensive feedback indicating that players have struggled to complete the challenges unlocked by Blood-Marked Seals. Our aim with this difficulty reduction is to increase the success rate for all players who have gained access to these seals.”
Other notable changes and improvements included in the patch are:
- A new Stash and Blacksmith have been added to the Butcher’s shop near Kael Rills, enabling players to salvage and sell items without having to return to Gea Kul.
- The Butcher’s health pool in the Fields of Hatred has been substantially increased.
- Fixed an issue where one of the Butcher’s attacks was invisible when playing at low graphics settings.
- Resolved a camera glitch that occurred in local co-op when both players transformed into the Butcher.
- Fixed a bug where the “Ring of Crimson Fury” icon was missing.
- Addressed an issue where the bosses of Tuneros Tower and the Herald of Darkness had significantly less health than intended.
- Corrected a problem where the Paladin’s “Judge” skin did not display wing visual effects.
- Fixed an issue preventing players from progressing in the “Deaf Tunnels” dungeon if they defeated the boss before the objective to defeat it could update.
- Resolved a critical crash issue occurring when launching the game on Windows 10 version 1909.
- Various improvements to stability, graphics, performance, and audio have been implemented.
Diablo IV’s update 2.6.1 is officially scheduled for release on March 24th.
