Developer RageSquid and publisher No More Robots have unexpectedly launched their extreme sports title, Descenders Next, today, July 21st. The game is immediately available as a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass. Its debut was originally slated for April but was quietly postponed at the last minute.
For players who prefer to own the game outright, Descenders Next is also purchasable for $30 USD on Steam and Xbox. Details regarding potential releases on PlayStation or Nintendo Switch platforms have not yet been disclosed.
Upon its release, Descenders Next features snowboarding and mountainboarding, with plans to introduce additional sports in subsequent updates. No More Robots states their ambition for the game: to become the ultimate extreme sports experience, progressively expanding its roster of adrenaline-fueled activities over time.
