Anbernic has released a new trailer, offering retro gaming enthusiasts a closer look at the forthcoming RG Vita and RG Vita Pro portable consoles, which are expected to hit the market soon. The video showcases both devices from various angles and reveals their complete technical specifications.
The standard RG Vita model features a 5.46-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is powered by a Unisoc Tiger T618 chip, coupled with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5. The device runs on Android 12 and is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery.
The RG Vita Pro variant maintains the 5.46-inch display size but upgrades the resolution to 1920×1080 pixels. It comes with an RK3576 processor, a Mali-G52 MC3 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. This Pro model supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and operates on both Android 14 and Linux. It also includes a 5000 mAh battery, supporting fast charging up to 18W (5V/9V).
Both consoles feature a microSD card slot, expandable up to 2TB, and are capable of emulating a wide range of gaming platforms, including PS2, Wii, NGC, 3DS, PSP, Dreamcast, Saturn, PS1, NDS, N64, CPS1–3, FBA, Neo Geo, GBA, GBC, GB, SFC, FC, Mega Drive, SMS, GG, MSX, PCE, WSC, N‑Gage, and Android games.
