Where To Find Fortnite Helicopters: All Choppa Locations in Chapter 6 Season 4

The start of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 has been quite dynamic, with Epic Games swiftly removing the season`s overpowered medallions within two weeks following player feedback. True to form, Fortnite continues to surprise with outlandish additions, and this week`s update delivers two new, distinctly whimsical vehicles: the Roly-Poly bug and the Hammerhead Choppa.

Roly-Polys are ubiquitous, easily spotted crawling across the landscape, usually in sufficient numbers for all players. In stark contrast, Hammerhead Choppas are a rare sight, with only a few spawning per match.

The scarcity of Hammerhead Choppas compared to Roly-Polys is quite understandable. These new Choppas, which are essentially more stylish iterations of Fortnite`s classic helicopters, offer space for an entire squad and a non-player character. Roly-Polys, on the other hand, function as single-occupant, bouncier versions of the familiar Ballers. Consequently, while the island is teeming with dozens of Roly-Polys in every match, Hammerhead Choppas remain a limited resource.

Locating Hammerhead Choppas in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4

Players can reliably find five Hammerhead Choppas at four distinct primary spawn points, with one location hosting a pair. Specifically, a Choppa is guaranteed at each of the three OXR outposts (the sites of the `push back the bugs` events), and two additional Choppas appear at OXR HQ, positioned north of the island`s core. All five of these specified Choppas boast a 100% spawn probability.

Beyond these fixed points, several other areas present a possible, though unconfirmed, chance for Hammerhead Choppas to appear. The accompanying map visually details these spawn zones: black stars mark potential Choppa locations, red stars signify guaranteed single Choppa spawns, and a red star with a black outline pinpoints where two Choppas are assured.

There are five guaranteed spawns (red) and three other potential spawn locations (black) for Hammerhead Choppas.

These guaranteed Hammerhead Choppas won`t be found directly on the ground; they are positioned on helipads within the OXR facilities. Thus, players should scan these platforms when searching for this coveted aerial vehicle.

Conversely, at locations with a speculative Choppa spawn, the vehicle will simply be parked on the grass.

Utilizing the Hammerhead Choppa`s Loudspeaker

Fortnite celebrates the introduction of Hammerhead Choppas to Battle Royale with two straightforward weekly quests. The first challenges players to deal damage to opponents from a distance of 50 meters or more while aboard a Choppa. While the Choppa itself is unarmed, players can switch to a passenger seat to fire their own weapons. The objective is simply to land hits, not necessarily to secure eliminations; attacking bugs also contributes to this quest.

Although Fortnite players are adept at combat, the second Choppa-related quest introduces an exclusive, non-combat mechanic: blaring music from a loudspeaker while airborne. This particular quest involves activating the loudspeaker within 100 meters of an enemy. While not inherently difficult, this unique feature, limited to the relatively rare Choppas, means many players might not be familiar with it.

Fortunately, this quest is exceptionally simple to complete. The loudspeaker can be activated by pressing the emote button (D-pad down on controllers, or `B` on keyboards). If the quest doesn`t register instantly, just continue flying; given the generous 100-meter radius, encountering an enemy and completing the objective is often accidental.
