Warzone Season 5: Stadium Opens, New Mode & Verdansk Disruption

Activision is preparing to roll out a significant Season 5 update for Call of Duty, which promises a major overhaul for Warzone. A highlight of this update is the stadium, set to become a fully accessible and interactive new playable zone on the map.

In conjunction with the stadium`s opening, a new 36-player mode named Stadium Resurgence will debut. This mode is engineered for rapid action, focusing on intense skirmishes within the confined stadium area. Players can look forward to Stadium Resurgence becoming available during the second full week of Season 5.

Activision revealed that “Recon teams have confirmed the existence of a clandestine military base hidden within the sealed walls of the National Acropolis Arena. The full extent of the threat remains unclear, though a weapon capable of large-scale destruction is expected to be unearthed within the vicinity.” This statement points towards a deeper narrative unfolding.
