Сервис Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass пополнится ещё одной игровой платформой, известной как один из самых неудачных проектов Nintendo. Функционал Virtual Boy станет доступен 17 февраля 2026 года, но для погружения в стереоскопическое 3D игр потребуется специальный аксессуар.
Этот новый аксессуар создан по образцу оригинального Virtual Boy: в него нужно вставить вашу консоль Switch или Switch 2 и приложить устройство к лицу, точно так же, как и с первоначальной версией. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass is set to welcome another gaming platform, notorious for being one of Nintendo`s most significant missteps. Virtual Boy functionality will be introduced on February 17, 2026, though a special accessory will be required to experience the stereoscopic 3D effects of its games.
Designed to replicate the original Virtual Boy, this new accessory requires users to insert their Switch or Switch 2 console and position it against their face for gameplay. Nintendo has confirmed the accessory`s future release but has not specified a date. A more affordable cardboard version, offering a similar experience, will also be available. The full plastic replica will retail for $100, while the cardboard model is priced at $25.
