Unlock Your Free Halo Spartan Skin in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4

Epic Games is introducing a new approach in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 by making one of the new Battle Pass skins available to all players for free. This isn`t just any regular Fortnite character; it`s the iconic UNSC Spartan from the Halo universe. If you`re looking to acquire this free Halo skin in Fortnite, here`s how.

How to Get Your Free Halo Skin

While every Fortnite Battle Pass has always included some free items accessible without purchase, these were typically accessories such as gliders or emotes. Character skins on the Battle Pass traditionally required a purchase. However, the UNSC Spartan, set to be Fortnite`s second free collaboration skin in 2025 after Dupli-Kate from “Invincible,” marks the first time a Battle Pass skin itself will be offered for free.

The Spartan skin, which instantly unlocks upon Battle Pass purchase, differs slightly from previous free Battle Pass rewards. To earn the UNSC Spartan for free, players simply need to reach 100 levels during Chapter 6 Season 4. The season spans three months, concluding on November 1st, providing ample time to level up without excessive grinding. The free UNSC Spartan will be granted to eligible players starting August 26th.

This initiative evolves from Season 3`s early Superman unlock, where the David Corenswet Superman skin was given early to Battle Pass owners who bought a 25-level bundle at the season`s outset. The core change now is that purchasing the Battle Pass itself grants early access to the free Spartan skin. Unlike just buying levels, the Battle Pass also includes a wealth of other content, such as Power Ranger and Megazord skins, offering compelling reasons to buy it even if you`ve already secured the Spartan skin for free.

Epic`s latest free skin is just one of many exciting new additions to Fortnite in Chapter 6 Season 4.
