Aspyr has rolled out a significant free update for the Tomb Raider I–III Remastered collection, introducing an all-new Challenge Mode and a wealth of additional content designed to delight fans of the classic Lara Croft trilogy.
The freshly added Challenge Mode empowers players to tailor their experience by adjusting difficulty through a variety of modifiers. These include altering Lara’s health, the damage she takes, enemy types encountered, and available bonuses, allowing for the creation of truly unique playthrough scenarios. Engaging with higher challenge levels offers more substantial rewards and unlocks, encouraging players to push their limits.
Further enhancing the game, this update also brings 10 brand-new outfits for Lara, each imbued with unique enhancements. These special abilities range from faster running speeds and deeper diving capabilities to improved effectiveness in combat. In conjunction with the new mode, 15 new achievements have been added, specifically tied to accomplishments within the Challenge Mode.

In addition to the content update, the remastered collection has expanded its reach, now being available on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices running iOS and Android operating systems. Mobile players are offered a generous opportunity to explore the first level of each game in the collection completely free of charge.
