The Rengoku Event Returns to Rainbow Six Siege: Unleash Chaos and Earn Rewards

The popular Rengoku event has made its anticipated return to Rainbow Six Siege. This exciting, limited-time game mode, available until August 13, challenges two teams of five players to battle for control of altars. The event introduces fresh gameplay mechanics, unique specialized weapons, and the opportunity to earn exclusive cosmetic items, including the coveted first Masterpiece animated skin, obtainable through the Rengoku event Memento.

Similar to its previous run, the Rengoku event tasks players with dominating specific areas of the map using powerful shotguns and special kunai. These throwable projectiles possess various tactical effects: they can poison adversaries, erect defensive barriers, or even ignite fires. For this iteration, new variants, such as a freezing kunai, have been added to the arsenal. While strategic planning is key to success, a significant part of the enjoyment stems from the inherent chaotic nature of each match.

As is customary for Rainbow Six Siege events, Rengoku also features opportunities for microtransactions. Players can claim several complimentary items simply by logging into the game during the event period or by participating in Twitch Drops. Additionally, new event-themed bundles for selected operators are available for purchase in the in-game shop. A signature event bundle, which includes a universal weapon skin, is also offered. Furthermore, an animated G36C Masterpiece skin for Ash and Lana is rewarded upon unlocking all items within the Rengoku Collection. Recent updates and events, such as the Siege X release, have already seen significant increases in player count for this game, which has now been active for over a decade. Given Rengoku`s proven popularity in the past, Ubisoft likely anticipates a similar positive trend in player engagement over the coming weeks.
