
This year, fans of euro-strategy games and the works of acclaimed game designer Vital Lacerda will have the opportunity to delve into the Russian version of “The Great Library” board game. Players will assume the role of librarians, eager to acquire valuable manuscripts and great literary works.
Publisher Crowd Games has announced that pre-orders are now open for this tabletop strategy game. “The Great Library,” designed by Vital Lacerda, successfully raised $536,401 (approximately 42-43 million rubles) on Kickstarter.

During the “early bird” period, valid until April 12, 2026, the game can be purchased at a special price of 11,750 rubles. Additionally, a sticker signed by Vital Lacerda is available for an extra 450 rubles.

Designed for 1-4 players, this tabletop strategy boasts a unique blend of euro-mechanics and exemplary production quality. The narrative centers on the Great Library of Alexandria, the legendary repository of ancient world knowledge, founded in the 3rd century BCE by Egyptian King Ptolemy I.

Players will get to embody true librarians, acquiring manuscripts, monumental works, and exotic artifacts. They will utilize the services of scholars, manage the crucial resource of time, and explore seven distinct locations.

The game is expected to arrive in warehouses in October 2026.
