The company issued a formal takedown notice to the popular modding platform, Nexus Mods, demanding the removal of two specific modifications that explicitly revealed the game`s primary female character, Isabella Torrisi.
Nexus Mods promptly acknowledged and complied with Take-Two`s request (as reported by PC Gamer), swiftly removing both the “Nude Isabella” and “Extended Textures for Nude Isabella” mods. These modifications were originally created by a user identified as “norskpl,” who is believed to have utilized Isabella`s existing character model from in-game romantic scenes. Interestingly, other non-explicit mods developed by norskpl for The Old Country, which enable players to assume the roles of different characters from the Mafia franchise, were left untouched.
Within the rich narrative of the game, Isabella is introduced as the daughter of Don Torrisi, who also happens to be the boss of the player`s character, Enzo Favara.
