The upcoming action RPG, Stupid Never Dies, is set to launch on PC and PlayStation 5 later this year. Japanese studio GPTRACK50, known for its developers’ involvement in the Devil May Cry series, has just unveiled a new trailer, along with fresh details and screenshots for this distinctive title.
Stupid Never Dies plunges players into a post-Great War world where humanity teeters on the brink of extinction, and monsters reign supreme. The story follows Davy, a timid zombie protagonist residing at the very bottom of this monstrous society, struggling to survive in a desolate shopping mall.
One fateful day, Davy discovers a frozen girl named Julia inside a freezer and instantly falls in love. From that moment on, his sole objective becomes clear: find a way to revive Julia and ask her out on a date.
A serendipitous theft of unusual food bestows peculiar and formidable powers upon Davy. Alongside eccentric Dr. Frank, who harbors dreams of restoring humanity, and a motley crew of questionable yet charismatic allies, Davy embarks on a perilous journey into a monster-infested dungeon.
Players will join Davy to discover if this unlikely zombie can bring peace back to humankind, revive Julia, and perhaps even find his first love.

The game features a dynamic “Style” system that allows players to alter the protagonist’s abilities, including:
- Zombie Style – Davy’s fundamental form.
- Werewolf Style – A swift style for ferocious attacks.
- Harpy Style – Grants flight and ranged attack capabilities.
- Golem Style – A powerful and resilient style for scattering foes.
- Vampire Style – Command a swarm of bats.
- Will-o’-the-Wisp Style – Toggle between physical and astral planes.
- Cyclops Style – Delivers potent ‘all-or-nothing’ attacks.
- Snow Fairy Style – Freeze enemies and absorb their power.
- Merfolk Style – Launch attacks from beneath the ground, as if from water.
- Lich Style – Summon skeletons and wield the power of death.
- Demon Style – Control enemies with whips and gravity manipulation.

A prominent feature is the ‘Body Hack’ system, enabling players to modify the protagonist’s body with various technological enhancements. Davy can install weapons and modules on his left and right arms, head, and legs.
GPTRACK50 studio describes Stupid Never Dies as a unique single-player action RPG, offering fast-paced gameplay, an unconventional narrative, and experimental character development mechanics.
