Fantasian Neo Dimension at a Record Low Price
Fantasian Neo Dimension is now available on Nintendo Switch and PS5 at its best-ever price on Amazon. This rarely discounted turn-based RPG is currently just $30, down from its usual $50. Fantasian is among several Square Enix JRPGs currently on sale.
The enhanced console and PC versions of Fantasian were released last December, although the turn-based RPG originally launched on iOS and macOS as part of the Apple Arcade library in 2021. To this day, it remains one of the top role-playing games on Apple Arcade. Nevertheless, the overhauled and renamed Fantasian Neo Dimension offers the definitive way to experience this thoroughly nostalgic adventure.
In Fantasian, players assume the role of Leo, an amnesiac protagonist who embarks on a journey across the world to restore his memories and combat a peculiar mechanical infection known as `mechteria` that is gradually destroying the world. The game features classic turn-based combat, blending modern sensibilities with the 1990s RPG gameplay for which Sakaguchi is renowned. Fantasian`s music was also composed by Nobuo Uematsu, another esteemed alumnus of the best Final Fantasy games.
One of Fantasian`s most striking features is its visual presentation: the world is constructed from over 150 real-life dioramas, with characters hand-animated to perfectly match this distinct style. This gives the game a unique feel as players explore its multi-dimensional universe.
Fantasian was developed by Mistwalker, with Hironobu Sakaguchi, a former Square Enix creative lead and original director of the Final Fantasy series, serving as writer and producer. Coincidentally, several 8-bit and 16-bit Final Fantasy games directed by Sakaguchi are compiled in the Final Fantasy I-VI Collection for Switch and PlayStation. All six Pixel Remasters can be purchased with a $30 discount on Amazon.
