Enthusiasts of the macabre `Saw` horror franchise can now experience Jigsaw`s cunning traps in stunning 4K clarity. The second, third, and fourth installments of the `Saw` series are making their debut on 4K Blu-ray, available as Amazon-exclusive Steelbook editions. The `Saw II` Limited Edition Steelbook is already available for preorder at a competitive price. Preorders for the `Saw III` and `Saw IV` 4K Steelbooks are expected to open soon.
Initially, Amazon listed October 21 as the release date for all three films. However, the exact timing has become somewhat ambiguous. Following a price adjustment for the `Saw II` Steelbook, its release date was removed, suggesting it may have already launched with an estimated 4-5 week delivery window.
Each of the new `Saw` Limited Edition Steelbooks includes 4K Blu-ray, 1080p, and digital copies compatible with various devices via Movies Anywhere. The 4K discs boast Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Dolby Atmos surround sound, promising an optimal viewing and listening experience for `Saw II` through `Saw IV`.

Which Saw movies are available on 4K Blu-ray?

While a new Steelbook for the original `Saw` film would have been a welcome addition, it`s already available as an unrated 4K Blu-ray edition, released in 2021.
Aside from the initial film, the only other installments currently available on 4K Blu-ray are the recent entries: `Jigsaw` (Saw VIII), `Spiral` (Saw IX), and `Saw X`. Notably, `Saw X`, the tenth film, is chronologically set between the first two movies, making it an interesting rewatch while awaiting new Steelbook arrivals. `Spiral`, a spin-off featuring Chris Rock, can be viewed independently, though its reception has been mixed. Similarly, `Jigsaw` (2017) is largely self-contained, taking place a decade after the original seven-film arc, but a viewing of the core series is recommended for fuller appreciation.

Saw Movie Blu-ray Box Sets
For fans aiming to complete their `Saw` collection, particularly those missing `Saw V`, `VI`, and `Saw 3D`, several Blu-ray box sets offer comprehensive options.

- Saw: 7-Film Collection (Blu-ray)
- Saw: 8-Film Collection (Blu-ray)
- Saw: 10-Film Collection (Blu-ray + DVD)
The `Saw` series was a defining horror franchise of the 2000s, with annual releases from 2004 to 2010. For many, the true `Saw` narrative concludes with the seventh film, `Saw 3D` (also known as `Saw: The Final Chapter`). For those focused on the original seven-movie arc, the `Saw: 7-Film Collection` in unrated Blu-ray editions is an excellent choice, even if it lacks 4K resolution.
The `Saw: 8-Film Collection` on Blu-ray offers an extended compilation, including `Jigsaw`.
For those desiring the complete franchise in a single purchase, the `Saw: 10-Film Anniversary Collection` is a premium option. Released to commemorate the franchise`s 20th anniversary, this extensive 23-disc set includes both Blu-ray and DVD versions of every film from the 2004 original to `Saw X` (2023). This collection stands out for its inclusion of both formats, additional special features DVDs for the first three films, and four collectible art cards. The set is presented in an oversized case, housed within a cardboard box featuring Jigsaw`s iconic traps.
Individual unrated editions of the first seven `Saw` movies are also available on 1080p Blu-ray, often at competitive prices, alongside the more recent trio of films.
