Saber Interactive, actively engaged in a vast portfolio of games including the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake and John Carpenter`s Toxic Commando, continues to captivate the community. The developer has launched a teaser campaign for a new, presumably horror-themed project. Official Saber Interactive social media channels and a dedicated website, july-22-2025.com, point to an upcoming announcement on July 22.
Currently, the aforementioned website displays a black screen with the text `PM 1:00 UTC Jul. 22, 2025`. Intermittent camcorder-style static appears around it. Every now and then, an image of a brick wall with the number “55” painted on it flashes briefly, which could serve as a cryptic hint about Saber`s plans.
An additional teaser is presented in a 30-second video on Saber`s official BlueSky account. The clip features a retro-style television on a table in an empty room, surrounded by candles on the floor. Intermittent shouts and screams can be heard emanating from the TV, with its glow reflecting on a nearby wall, but nothing specific is shown on-screen.
None of Saber`s currently announced projects, such as KOTOR, Toxic Commando, Jurassic Park Survival (announced in 2023), the as-yet-unnamed RPG set in Paramount`s Avatar: The Last Airbender universe (announced last year), or the third installment of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, align with the spooky atmosphere created by the current teaser.
More detailed information will be revealed when the time indicated on the teaser site arrives: 1:00 PM UTC (which translates to 6:00 AM PT and 9:00 AM ET) on July 22.
