Similar to the Special Edition, the Solus Steelbook also includes an acetate O-ring bearing the title and text. It`s important to clarify that the Special Edition`s O-ring is exclusively for its cigar box packaging, meaning a separate O-ring for the steelbook case itself is not included.

As a major enthusiast myself, I can confidently state that, given a choice between a lavish new 4K Blu-ray edition of The Shining and the recently published compendium about the film, I would unequivocally choose the latter.
Stanley Kubrick`s The Shining is an expansive two-volume, 1,396-page boxed set, offering an incredibly thorough examination of the film`s production. This exquisitely designed slipcase collection, crafted by M/M Paris, was released by Taschen earlier this year.
Authored by J.W. Rinzler and edited by Pixar director Lee Unkrich, the compendium draws from hundreds of hours of interviews and extensive investigative research. The first book, featuring an introduction by Steven Spielberg, meticulously details every stage of the production. Upon receiving my copy, I was astonished by the depth of detail packed into the nearly 900-page hardcover.
