This announcement was accompanied by a concerning caption: “Viewer discretion advised,” alongside a camcorder emoji and a first-person perspective image depicting someone gripping a locked fence at nighttime. While the Pokemon franchise is known for its unsettling lore and has featured eerie trailers in the past, if this had not originated from the official Pokemon X (formerly Twitter) account, it could easily be mistaken for a teaser for a first-person horror game.
