July 2025 marks the second month of Pokémon Go`s `Delightful Days` season, bringing a packed schedule of exciting events and activities. This special month celebrates Pokémon Go`s 9th anniversary with a grand event, introducing new festive Pokémon and a Masterwork Research quest. Players can also anticipate various summer-themed events, including a Summer Concert and the return of the popular Water Festival. Additionally, July features two Community Days, alongside the usual weekly Spotlight Hours and diverse raid battles. July Raid Schedule
Pokémon Go`s July raid schedule is set to feature a mix of returning fan-favorite Legendary and Mega Pokémon. The legendary Swords of Justice—Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion—will be available in five-star raids throughout the month, joined by the iconic Pokémon Sun and Moon mascots, Solgaleo and Lunala. Mega Raids will bring back Mega Charizard X, Mega Blastoise, Mega Venusaur, Mega Aggron, and Mega Aerodactyl. For Max Battles, expect to encounter Dynamax Shuckle, Dynamax Gastly, and Dynamax Kabuto. July will continue the popular Pokémon Go Spotlight Hour events. Each Tuesday evening, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, a specific Pokémon species will appear more frequently in the wild, offering excellent chances to complete your Pokédex and accumulate candy. Additionally, a special bonus, such as increased XP or Stardust for catching Pokémon, will be active during this hour. The complete July Spotlight Hour schedule is as follows:

9th Anniversary Party

To kick off July, Pokémon Go will host its 9th Anniversary celebration from July 1st to 6th. This festive event introduces new party-themed Pokémon, including Ivysaur and Venusaur wearing party hats for the first time. Players can also encounter a Gimmighoul holding a special 9th-anniversary coin by completing Field Research. Various bonuses will be active throughout the event, such as an increased chance of becoming Lucky Friends and receiving Lucky Pokémon from trades. Specific daily bonuses include half egg hatch distance for eggs placed in Incubators from July 1st-3rd, and double XP for catching Pokémon from July 3rd-5th. The celebration also features free Field and Timed Research tasks, plus a paid `Wish Granted` Masterwork Research story, offering a chance to catch a shiny Jirachi upon completion.

Eevee returns for a two-day Community Day Classic on July 5th and 6th. From 2 PM to 5 PM local time daily, Eevee will appear more frequently in the wild, increasing opportunities to catch numerous Eevee and collect its candy, along with a higher chance of encountering shiny Eevee. This event also offers a chance to obtain special exclusive moves: Eevee and its evolutions can learn these unique attacks if hatched or evolved before 10 PM local time on July 12th. Standard Community Day bonuses apply, including eggs hatching at a quarter of their usual distance, and Incense and Lure Modules lasting for three hours. Additionally, temporary reductions in Eevee`s evolution requirements will make it easier to achieve these featured attacks.

Following the successful completion of Global Challenges during Pokémon Go Fest 2025, a special Ultra Unlock: Hisui Celebration will run from July 8th to 13th. This event marks the debut of Hisuian Zorua and its evolution, Hisuian Zoroark, in Pokémon Go. These Ghost Fox Pokémon, along with other Hisuian regional Pokémon like Hisuian Voltorb, Petilil, Bergmite, and Hisuian Qwilfish, will appear in the wild. Players can look forward to new Research tasks and Collection Challenges. Bonuses include quadrupled XP and Stardust for catching Pokémon, and increased chances to find shiny Hisuian Voltorb, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Unown U.

Water Festival

Pokémon Go`s Water Festival splashes back from July 15th to 20th, featuring the debut of the Water/Dragon-type Pokémon Tatsugiri. Each of Tatsugiri`s three forms will appear as a three-star raid boss in specific global regions: Curly Form in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa; Droopy Form exclusively in the Americas; and Stretchy Form across the Asia-Pacific region. Wild encounters will also be abundant with Water-type Pokémon like Squirtle, Clamperl, Feebas, and Tirtouga. The event offers themed Research tasks, Collection Challenges, and various bonuses, including enhanced shiny rates for Staryu and Tirtouga.

July`s second Community Day falls on the 20th, spotlighting Quaxly, the Water-type starter from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. During this Community Day, the Quaxly evolution line can learn an exclusive attack: Evolve Quaxwell into Quaquaval by 10 PM local time on July 27th to teach it the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. Event-themed Field and Timed Research tasks will provide various rewards, including more opportunities to catch Quaxly. A paid Community Day Special Research ticket will also be available in the shop, offering extra bonuses like a Rare Candy XL and a Premium Battle Pass. Standard Community Day bonuses apply, including triple Stardust and double candy for catches, and Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) lasting three hours.
