PlayStation has officially unveiled the selection of complimentary games for PlayStation Plus subscribers this month. Starting August 5, all PS Plus members will be able to claim a trio of exciting titles: Lies of P, DayZ, and My Hero: One`s Justice 2. If you haven`t yet redeemed your free games from July`s lineup, be sure to do so before next Tuesday.
Many gamers eagerly anticipate a Bloodborne remaster or sequel, but Lies of P offers a compelling alternative. This title, heavily influenced by FromSoftware`s acclaimed classic, reimagines the Pinocchio fairy tale with a dark twist and features refined gameplay that will captivate fans of the soulslike genre. Its expansion, Overture, released in June, further enriched the experience with an engaging storyline and even more formidable adversaries.
DayZ has been a staple in the survival genre for quite some time. For those yet to experience it, this game provides a truly hardcore survival simulation set in an expansive open world where the greatest threat often comes not from zombies, but from other players.
Rounding out the list is My Hero: One`s Justice 2, a video game adaptation of the immensely popular My Hero Academia manga and anime series. While it functions as a fairly standard 3D arena-fighter featuring characters from the franchise, it`s a worthwhile pick-up to catch up on the story, especially with a new game on the horizon that will cover the final arc.
