Peak’s Latest Patch Brings Major Fixes And Color Blindness Mode

The game Peak recently launched a substantial update, addressing various bugs, rebalancing gameplay elements, and, most notably, introducing a highly requested Color Blindness mode. This new feature incorporates distinct patterns onto the game`s colored berries, offering an alternative visual cue for players to distinguish them during climbs.

Enhancing accessibility is always beneficial, as it not only broadens a game`s audience but often leads to such features becoming integral to the fundamental gameplay experience, much like Fortnite`s visual sound effect option.

Among the other improvements are fixes for a long-standing problem preventing players from earning the Endurance Badge—one of Peak`s many achievements that unlock cosmetic customizations. Additionally, critical game-crashing bugs, such as the one causing the game to freeze on the loading screen when caught in a tornado, have been resolved.

The complete patch notes are detailed below.

Peak September 8 Patch Notes

  • Rectified a rare bug causing the game to freeze on the loading screen upon failing a run after being caught in a tornado.
  • Implemented new backpack physics to prevent more instances of backpack loss.

Minor Bug Fixes
