Official Cast Announcement for The Legend of Zelda Live-Action Film

Nintendo has officially unveiled the lead actors set to bring the iconic characters of The Legend of Zelda to life in its eagerly anticipated live-action film adaptation. It has been confirmed that Bo Bragason will portray Princess Zelda, while Benjamin Evan Ainsworth steps into the beloved role of Link.

This exciting casting news was personally shared by veteran Nintendo developer Shigeru Miyamoto. In a social media announcement, Miyamoto expressed his enthusiasm, stating his great anticipation to witness both actors` performances on the big screen, embodying these globally cherished video game figures.

Introducing the Chosen Stars

Bo Bragason, an English actress, has gained recognition for her earlier work, including the 2017 television series “Three Girls” and her role in the 2021 horror film “Censor.” A notable credit in her diverse portfolio is her voice portrayal of a young Luna in “Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy,” a 2021 CG-animated film connected to the “Final Fantasy 15” universe.

Also hailing from England, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth has built an impressive acting resume. His previous appearances include critically acclaimed productions such as “The Haunting of Bly Manor,” “Flora & Ulysses,” and the recent live-action adaptation of “Pinocchio.”
