Nintendo Switch 2 Pokemon Legends: Z-A Bundle Now Available for Preorder on Amazon

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pokemon Legends: Z-A Bundle is now available for preorder on Amazon for $500. This comes nearly two months after preorders first opened at other retailers. Unlike some of Amazon`s other Switch 2 listings, such as the Mario Kart World Bundle or the standalone console, an invitation is not required to place your preorder for this new bundle. It is set to release on October 16, coinciding with the game`s launch. Purchasers will receive a digital copy of Pokemon Legends: Z-A alongside the console, similar to the Mario Kart World Bundle.

Where to Preorder

While Amazon now offers preorders, the bundle also remains available at Walmart and Target. However, it is currently sold out at Best Buy and GameStop.

Replacing the Mario Kart Bundle

This new Pokemon bundle is expected to supersede the existing Mario Kart World launch bundle, which was always marketed as a limited-time offer expiring this autumn. Although an official end date for the Mario Kart Switch 2 bundle hasn`t been announced, its discontinuation seems probable when the Pokemon bundle arrives on October 16.

Savings and Game Compatibility

Opting for this bundle provides a $20 saving compared to purchasing the $450 console and the $70 game separately. It`s important to note that Pokemon Legends: Z-A is not exclusive to the Switch 2; it will also be playable on the original Switch, where it will retail for $60.

Other Exciting Nintendo Releases

Pokemon Legends: Z-A is among several anticipated Nintendo exclusives launching this fall. The September Nintendo Direct event unveiled numerous exciting announcements, including a Super Mario Galaxy collection, definitive release dates for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, and a variety of new Amiibo figures compatible with both Switch and Switch 2 consoles.
