Nintendo Switch 2 Pokemon Legends Console Bundle Is Up For Preorder

Nintendo has officially revealed a new holiday bundle for its highly anticipated Switch 2 console, featuring the prominent exclusive game launching this fall: Pokemon Legends: Z-A. This upcoming bundle, priced at $500, includes a digital copy of the new game along with the Switch 2 console itself. Set for release on October 16, the bundle is already available for preorder at major retailers such as Best Buy, Target, and GameStop, with more retailers expected to begin offering preorders soon.

The announcement of this bundle closely followed Nintendo`s latest Pokemon Presents stream. This presentation also showcased other new titles, including “Pokemon Friends,” a game planned for both mobile devices and Nintendo Switch systems.

Nintendo Switch 2 Pokemon Legends: Z-A Bundle Overview

Bundle Price: $500

Release Date: October 16

This new Pokemon Legends bundle appears to be positioned as a replacement for the existing Mario Kart World launch bundle. The Mario Kart bundle was previously advertised as a limited-time offer set to expire this fall. While Nintendo has not yet disclosed an exact end date for the Mario Kart Switch 2 bundle, it is widely anticipated to be discontinued around October 16, aligning with the release of the Pokemon bundle.

Similar to the Mario Kart bundle, purchasing this Pokemon package offers a financial benefit, providing a $20 discount compared to buying the $450 console and the $70 game separately. An important distinction is that Pokemon Legends: Z-A will not be exclusive to the Switch 2; the game will also be available for the original Nintendo Switch console at a price of $60.

Currently Available for Preorder At: Best Buy, Target, GameStop

For those interested in the console separately, the Nintendo Switch 2 can be purchased on its own for $450, or as part of a $500 bundle that includes Mario Kart World. Amazon has recently begun stocking the console, along with its full range of first-party accessories and exclusive games.
