Mastering Temper Acupoints in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Struggling to understand how to unlock Temper Acupoints in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers? This crucial combat and gear-related mechanic allows you to activate unique special effects for your weapons as you progress.

Unlocking Temper Acupoints: A Guide to Bone Needles and Stone Needles in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

The Temper Acupoints feature becomes accessible quite early in your journey. Simply defeat the game`s initial major boss, the Man-Eating Dutanga, located within Lightzen Temple. Upon its defeat, you will gain access to:

  • The Temper menu will become available at Shrines.
  • The Yanchi Acupoint, serving as your first slot.
  • A Bone Needle: Flame, which enhances your weapon`s fire damage and allows it to inflict Burn.

Gaining More Acupoints and Bone Needles Through the Skill Tree

In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, additional Temper Acupoints and Bone Needles can be unlocked through the Impetus Repository (skill tree) found at Shrines. Observe the perks or nodes on the left side of the interface:

  • Alteration: These nodes grant you more Acupoint slots. While most primarily require Red Mercury, the final slot on the far left demands a Cyan Feather Chisel, which is obtained significantly later in the game.
  • Rapid Temperance and Associated Nodes: These provide additional Bone Needles that enable your weapons to apply various status effects, such as Poise Break, Lightning/Paralysis, Frostbite, Corruption, and Blight.
  • Fury of the Skyborn and Related Nodes: These offer diverse utility benefits, including magical enhancements, lifesteal capabilities, and improved Feathering potency.

Expand your Acupoint slots and Bone Needle collection through the skill tree.

Equipping Bone Needles and Stone Needles

To equip both Stone and Bone Needles in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, access the Temper menu at any Shrine. Here, you`ll find your available Acupoint slots:

  • Bone Needles: The Bone Needles acquired from the skill tree are equipped in the Yangchi Acupoint. Only one Bone Needle can be active at a time.
  • Stone Needles: These are obtained from Inner Demons encountered in particular regions. Stone Needles can be inserted into any of your other available Acupoint slots.

Select a weapon and pair it with Bone and Stone Needles that enhance its inherent characteristics.

It`s crucial to verify the compatibility of Bone and Stone Needles with your currently equipped weapon. Certain weapons receive significant boosts when their Temper options align with their elemental or status effect properties.
