Arc System Works, the acclaimed studio behind the “Guilty Gear” series, is currently developing “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls”. For those eager to get an early glimpse of the game, an upcoming closed beta offers a unique opportunity to try it out.

This limited-time beta, running from September 5th to 7th, will grant participants access to a selection of six playable characters, online and limited offline matches, a spectator mode, and the game`s training tutorial, among other features.

How to Access the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Closed Beta

To participate in the beta, follow these steps:

  • Complete the required registration form.
  • If selected, you will receive an invitation via email with further instructions.

“Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls”, first unveiled in June, is a 4v4 fighting game currently slated for a 2026 release. The game features an impressive roster of iconic Marvel characters, including Captain America, Doctor Doom, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, and Storm, all reimagined with a fresh and distinctive art direction.

The game was showcased and playable during Evo 2025. A tutorial trailer revealed that its gameplay systems include dynamic elements such as EX moves, super moves, and ultimate moves, all powered by a meter that charges during combat.

Evo 2025 also brought forth several other exciting announcements for the fighting game community. “Street Fighter 6” fans were treated to a teaser trailer for C. Viper`s upcoming arrival, while a new trailer demonstrated how Lucy from “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” will play in “Guilty Gear: Strive”. Additionally, a new installment in the “Virtua Fighter” series was confirmed to be in development.
