The newly unveiled map, named “Throne of Knull,” is located on Klyntar, the home planet of the Symbiotes. It features the imposing Venom Spire, which extends deep into the planet`s core, and prominently displays Knull himself still confined to his throne. A recent video preview of the map hints at Knull`s potential liberation, showing him absorbing Phoenix`s formidable flames.
The “Throne of Knull” will also serve as one of the battlegrounds for the game`s upcoming “Resource Rumble” mode. Launching on August 21st, Resource Rumble challenges teams to collect enough resource points to achieve victory. A strategic twist allows teams to turn the tide by directly stealing points from their rivals, adding an intense layer to the gameplay.
NetEase has also teased an upcoming event called “Ancient Powers Awaken,” which will also begin on August 21st. This event promises new epic rewards, including a free “Old Man Strange” costume for Doctor Strange. Furthermore, significant improvements to the matchmaking and ranking systems are on the horizon, with specific details to be announced on August 21st via Marvel Rivals` official social media channels.
