The developers behind Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 have rolled out update 1.5.3, which aims to resolve a series of technical issues identified within the game, enhancing overall stability and player experience.
A significant focus of this patch is on collectible items. Previously, loading a saved game while in the process of picking up a journal could lead to its permanent disappearance. This update fixes this problem, and any missing journal entries on affected save files will now be retroactively restored.
Further improvements have been implemented for the game’s photo mode and general gameplay. Players will no longer encounter crashes during a specific quest, and restarting a mini-game will no longer prevent the saving of progress, addressing frustrating gameplay interruptions.
Additionally, the team at Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has rectified several environmental bugs across various in-game locations. These fixes include adjustments to lighting, collision detection, the placement of objects, and sound effects, contributing to a more polished and immersive world.
