Fans of Magic: The Gathering can rejoice as the popular Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Commander Decks are once again available on Amazon, now at significantly reduced prices. Originally launched in June 2023 for approximately $70, these highly sought-after decks can currently be purchased for around $50 each. Additionally, for those interested in recent crossovers, the Final Fantasy Commander Deck Bundle has reached a new all-time low of $175, down from its initial $280.
The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Commander Decks:
- Commander Deck 1 – Riders of Rohan — $49.92
- Commander Deck 2 – Food and Fellowship — $50.44
- Commander Deck 3 – Elven Council — $47.72
- Commander Deck 4 – The Hosts of Mordor — $88 | Reseller
The first three Commander Decks listed are shipped and sold directly. Unfortunately, the fourth deck, The Hosts of Mordor, is currently sold out via the primary seller, but it`s worth checking for intermittent restocks. Please note that while trading card returns are typically not accepted, Riders of Rohan is currently eligible for free returns.
Each Commander Deck includes 100 Lord of the Rings-themed cards, featuring 20 unique cards not found in any other Lord of the Rings MTG product. These decks also come with a foil-etched display card of the Commander, a Collector Booster Sample Pack containing two cards (one rare or higher Traditional Foil or special treatment card, and one Traditional Foil special treatment common or uncommon card), along with essential accessories: a deck box, 10 double-sided tokens, a Helper card, a Life Wheel, a strategy insert, and a reference card.
The availability of Tales of Middle-earth and other Lord of the Rings MTG products frequently relies on third-party resellers, leading to common price fluctuations. While Scene Boxes often remain reasonably priced, Commander Decks can experience more volatile pricing.
