Disney fans will soon be able to expand their collections with a new exclusive release. The upcoming live-action remake of “Lilo & Stitch” will be available on 4K Blu-ray in a Limited Edition Steelbook. This edition, which is the only 4K version of the film, will be released on August 26.
Although the “Lilo & Stitch” remake premiered in theaters on May 23, Blu-ray pre-orders for Disney films typically open shortly before their release date. Ahead of the new version`s release, fans can rewatch the original 2002 animated film, which became available for the first time on 4K Blu-ray in May as part of the “Ultimate Collector`s Edition.”
Lilo & Stitch (2025): Limited Edition Steelbook (4K Blu-ray)
The 2025 remake`s Limited Edition Steelbook includes 4K Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray, and digital copies of the film. The 4K disc supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 technologies, as well as a Dolby Atmos audio track. The steelbook cover features a vibrant image of Stitch biting the ampersand from the title, while on the back, Lilo and Stitch sit together gazing at the sky. The inside of the case also contains images of the duo.

The original 2002 animated film finally saw its 4K Blu-ray release in May. The “Ultimate Collector`s Edition” of this film also includes 4K and 1080p Blu-ray discs, plus a voucher for the digital version. The animated movie also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
