The recent Star Trek Day brought exciting news, with one of the most anticipated announcements being the tease of an official Lego Star Trek collaboration. A brief teaser trailer showcased a Lego minifigure of the iconic Starfleet Captain Jean-Luc Picard, complete with his Star Trek: The Next Generation uniform, beaming into a transporter room. The teaser concluded with Klingon text that, when translated, simply stated “coming soon.”

This collaboration marks Lego`s first venture into the Star Trek universe, although specific details about the upcoming sets remain under wraps. The potential for diverse and ambitious builds is immense, ranging from the USS Enterprise (TNG era) to formidable Borg Cubes, Klingon warships, and much more. While it appears The Next Generation will lead the initial rollout, fans would undoubtedly welcome sets inspired by other beloved Star Trek series like the classic Original Series, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, and Discovery.
