Keepsake Games` cooperative space adventure, previously known as “Jump Ship,” has been officially retitled “Jump Space” due to trademark considerations. This highly anticipated game is now set to enter early access next month, with a new trailer offering a glimpse into its sprawling interstellar universe.
The early access phase for “Jump Space” is slated to commence on September 19. The gameplay experience might feel familiar to fans of titles like “Left 4 Dead” and “Sea of Thieves,” blending ship management with on-foot exploration. Up to four players can team up as a crew, taking charge of their vessel, performing repairs, venturing on exhilarating spacewalks, and discovering diverse planets. While solo play is an option, the developers recommend joining forces with friends to navigate the vast unknowns of space.
“Jump Space” is exclusively a Player-vs-Environment (PvE) experience, ensuring players can focus on collaborative challenges without the pressure of competitive player-vs-player combat. Prepare for intense firefights, both on foot when exploring alien environments and from the cockpit as you maneuver your ship into combat. Keepsake Games has also highlighted that the game will feature a variety of “handcrafted missions enriched with random elements,” promising a fresh and unique playthrough with each session.
The game has already garnered significant attention, with over one million additions to its Steam wishlist. “Jump Space” will be available for players on Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms.
