Goddess of Victory: Nikke, a popular sci-fi RPG shooter available on mobile and PC and developed by Shift Up (known for Stellar Blade), is set to welcome a legendary figure from video game lore. During Gamescom, it was hinted that Jill Valentine, a primary protagonist from the original Resident Evil series, will be featured in an upcoming crossover event with Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
A preliminary teaser trailer showcased a cult engaged in a dark ritual, with Goddess of Victory character Poli briefly appearing as she is seized by a blood-stained hand. Although Jill`s initial appearance was concealed in this first trailer, developer Shift Up later verified her inclusion.

Shift Up also suggested that Jill might not be the sole Resident Evil character to participate in this crossover event. Specifics regarding the collaboration`s narrative and release schedule remain undisclosed. This Resident Evil partnership is not Goddess of Victory`s inaugural major crossover, as it has previously featured characters from acclaimed franchises like Evangelion and Nier: Automata. A crossover with Stellar Blade also occurred earlier this year.
In related Resident Evil news, Capcom is preparing for the original game`s 30th anniversary next year. While Jill Valentine is seemingly absent from the upcoming title, Resident Evil: Requiem, Capcom`s recent trailer provided a more detailed look at its new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft. Resident Evil: Requiem is slated for release on February 27, 2026. Furthermore, a new Resident Evil film, directed by Zach Cregger (known for Weapons), is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on September 18, 2026.
