While a definitive release date for the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong remains unconfirmed, European gamers will soon have the chance to experience this elusive Metroidvania title firsthand. Xbox has unveiled its lineup for this year`s Gamescom, scheduled from August 20-24. Among the featured titles, attendees will be able to try out a demo for Hollow Knight: Silksong, a showcase expected to draw significant crowds.
Further details about the demo itself are scarce. However, given the event`s anticipated high traffic, a lengthy play session should not be expected. Notably, this will be the first public playable demonstration of the game since 2019. Additionally, Silksong is slated for a playable showcase at Australia`s National Museum of Screen Culture in September.
Xbox also announced a selection of other first and third-party game demos that will be available at the event. This includes the first public demo for Ninja Gaiden 4 and a playable version of Grounded 2, which is set to release on July 29.
