The saga surrounding the massive Grand Theft Auto VI leak appears to be far from over. Recently, the gaming community’s attention was once again drawn to Arion Kurtaj, the hacker responsible for the extensive release of early GTA VI development materials.

Reports have circulated among gamers suggesting that Kurtaj allegedly managed to smuggle a mobile phone into a British prison and transmit a mysterious message.

This development was highlighted by “ben,” a well-known blogger and dataminer prominent within the GTA and RDR communities. He shared insights from what is believed to be Kurtaj’s correspondence:

“Arion Kurtaj reportedly smuggled a phone into a UK prison. I won’t post screenshots of the correspondence (but I’m sure they’ll appear soon), Arion seemed surprised that the Grand Theft Auto VI source code hadn’t leaked, and hinted that the code might be in someone’s hands.”

Based on these communications, it seems Kurtaj is aware of the individual or group who gained access to the GTA VI source code. He expressed surprise that this highly sensitive data has not been publicly released over the past years.

However, a segment of the gaming community remains skeptical, viewing these claims as a potential hoax or a deliberate attempt by the hacker to troll players.
