Four Free Games Available on Steam Right Now, Featuring Battlestar Galactica Deadlock

Even though the Steam Summer Sale has finished, players can still get free games, as four titles are currently available to claim on Steam for a short period.

The four games available for free on Steam until July 17 are Fantasy General II, Field of Glory II: Medieval, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, and Caribbean Crashers. These can be added to your library permanently if claimed by the deadline.

Three of the free titles (excluding Caribbean Crashers) are published by Slitherine, a company specializing in strategy games that is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a sale on Steam. The three Slitherine games offered for free have received `Very Positive` user reviews, with Battlestar Galactica Deadlock appearing to be the most favored and critically acclaimed among them.

Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, developed by Black Lab Games, puts players in command of the Colonial Fleet during the First Cylon War, challenging them to win turn-based 3D space battles through strategic planning. Black Lab Games also created Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, which is currently discounted by 70%.

If you`re not a fan of Battlestar Galactica, Slitherine offers other licensed strategy games on sale, such as Starship Troopers: Terran Command and Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance.

Caribbean Crashers is the only free game from a different publisher than Slitherine. Developed by Bloxhill (one of only two games they have on Steam), it`s usually priced at $2 and is free for the same limited duration.

In addition to these Steam giveaways, Amazon Prime subscribers can claim a total of eleven free games in July (seven standard monthly titles plus four extra for Prime Day).
