First Metal Gear Solid Delta Update Targets Critical Bugs and Floating Snake Glitch

Konami has rolled out the inaugural update for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater across all platforms. This patch primarily focuses on resolving various crashing issues encountered in specific scenarios within the stealth game. Additionally, it addresses a humorous glitch that caused Snake to float in midair.

Previously, players of Metal Gear Solid Delta might have observed Snake hovering above the ground after executing a transition from a roll to a crawl. This update, bringing the game to version 1.1.2, was released for Steam on August 28, and is now available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as well.

Coinciding with the launch of Metal Gear Solid Delta, Lori Alan, the voice actress for The Boss, celebrated by cosplaying as her iconic character, whom she originally voiced in the 2004 PS2 classic. While the new game largely retains the original voice recordings, with only a few exceptions, Snake`s voice actor, David Hayter, expressed a desire for new recordings. The development team for Metal Gear Solid Delta hopes that series creator Hideo Kojima will appreciate the respectful approach taken with the remake.

Looking forward, a new hide-and-seek multiplayer mode named `Fox Hunt` is slated for release in the fall. The complete patch notes for version 1.1.2 are listed below:
