Fantasy Extraction Game Dungeon Stalkers Announces Server Closure Despite Focus on Character Design

Developers invested effort into designing attractive female character models, but Dungeon Stalkers ultimately failed to achieve widespread success.

Following the recent announcement of server closures for Eldegarde, another fantasy extraction title, Dungeon Stalkers, has now revealed similar plans.

The creators of the PvEvP “dungeon-crawler” Dungeon Stalkers announced that they would cease sales of all DLC and in-game items, effective today.

Today, we are compelled to share some unfortunate news. While we strived to deliver the best possible gaming experience, internal circumstances have led us to the conclusion that we can no longer maintain the service at an adequate level. We sincerely apologize for not meeting the expectations of our dedicated players and are forced to announce the game’s closure.

Despite the presence of shapely female characters, Dungeon Stalkers only achieved a peak concurrent player count exceeding 5,000 users at its launch. This figure subsequently plummeted, settling at a meager 100-120 active players in recent times.

Dungeon Stalkers’ servers will remain operational until June 9, 2026. The game itself is free-to-play and can still be added to your Steam library.
